THE SAT DIALOGUE
Stress, Anxiety & our Thoughts
Stress is not just a psychological condition. Stress can affect your body and your mind (thought patterns, learning, memory, and feelings), and as a result, your behavior. Stress left unchecked can also contribute to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, cancer, and diabetes.
If you’re living with high levels of stress, you’re putting your entire well-being at risk. But you have a lot more control than you might think.
Effective stress management helps you break the hold stress has on your life, so you can be happier, healthier, and more productive.
Anxiety, is a feeling of dread, fear, or apprehension, often with no clear justification.
Some anxiety inevitably arises in the course of daily life and is considered normal. But persistent, intense, chronic, or recurring anxiety can affect your physical and emotional well-being, apart from affecting inter-personal relations.
Thoughts (our thinking)
Thinking is a normal human phenomenon. On average a person has more than 60,000 thoughts a day. And that is a lot. The content and quality of these thoughts impact your physical and psychological well-being. The good news is we can manage our thoughts… well to a large extent… and that can transform our lives forever.
Thought, or thinking, is considered to mediate between inner activity and external stimuli, including your stressors in the environment and anxiety within.
Our thoughts also affect our physical health, the way we feel, and even our senses. For example, even the food can taste much better and the same environment seems pleasant, with positive thoughts. Thoughts affect the way our mind perceives stressors and our emotions. Everything is connected.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we could really get a hold of our thoughts and everything else?
Good news – It is possible!
The SAT Dialogue with Dr Nasir aims at exactly the same. How can we manage our thoughts, reduce anxiety, positively react to stressors and minimize stress to manageable levels?

These days stress & anxiety have become a common topic of conversation. We all suffer at some time in our working lives, some more than others. Not only can stress & anxiety affect your ability to work, consequently affecting your business & professional life, but more importantly - your health too.
Through this learning dialogue we can help participants to consider a wide range of practical stress & anxiety management techniques that can help team members whilst executing management health and safety responsibilities at their workplace.
This training program which will be delivered as a learning dialogue will help participants to learn & analyze the co-relation of SAT (Stress, Anxiety & Thoughts). The core objective of which is to enable participants in considering the management of SAT at an individual and organizational level, and to develop and implement effective strategies for preventing and managing stress & anxiety at work. It will also help you to identify your personal difficulties, and reflect upon your stress management and relaxation strategies to achieve effective and sustainable ways of handling work-related situations which impart your professional life by helping you to succeed in your career & maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Program Highlights

The Learning Dialogue: (what it is NOT)
This is not a (yet another) motivational Speaker. Motivational speakers are good for youngsters, students, and the like, not for mature audience.
This won’t provide any exercises or tools / techniques for relaxation, which are more like Panadol & Cough Syrup.
The learning objective: (What it is)
Every individual is unique and so are his / her problems, stressors, anxieties and their solutions. Analyzing and then managing the stressors & anxiety is as unique and personal as our fingerprints. What an educated and intelligent manager need is to understand the mechanics of how our mind (Thoughts), heart (Feelings & Emotions) and body (Behavior) are designed, operate & are interlinked.
The full day Learning Dialogue (Not calling it a workshop) shall just help you understand and analyze your thoughts, anxieties & stressors. How you manage these towards a healthier and happier life, is your job.
This is a mutually learning session, hence called the Dialogue.

Program Benefits
We commonly ascribe our stressors to external environment and stimuli:
But remember: “Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react to it.” While reactions are usually perceived as physical actions, a reaction is also how one thinks, the ‘Internal Conversations’.
Understand the basics and dynamics of everyday stress and anxiety and how it affects your physical, mental, and emotional life….
Learn the intricate mechanics of these phenomenon and haw can you manage these towards a happier and healthier life.
Understanding leads to better management. There is no better person than yourself to manage something as personal as your thoughts. Your thought management leads to a much better management of your stress and anxiety, taking you closer to a happier and healthier life.
Dr Javed is not a motivational speaker. We don’t have any ready-made totka’s that claim to reduce all your tension. There is no ‘one size fits all’ solution to stress and anxiety, as everyone s problems and the situation is unique. We don’t provide you fish but teach you how to fish.
